My Favourite Natural Fibre Clothing Brands

After learning about the potential impact of synthetic fabrics and microplastics, one of the questions I get asked most often is:
“Where do I actually find natural fibre clothing?”
The truth is that it can take time to build a wardrobe made primarily from natural fibres. Many mainstream clothing brands rely heavily on polyester, nylon, acrylic, and elastane, often because they’re inexpensive and durable.
While I don’t believe perfection is necessary, I do think becoming more mindful about the fabrics we wear is a worthwhile investment for both our health and the environment.
Over the years, I’ve gradually transitioned towards brands that prioritise natural fibres, sustainability, and thoughtful production. These are some of my personal favourites that I’ve tried, tested, and genuinely love.
What I Look for in Clothing
When shopping for clothing, I try to prioritise:
Natural fibres such as organic cotton, linen, hemp, wool, and silk
Sustainable and ethical production practices
High-quality pieces that last
Timeless designs over fast fashion trends
Comfort and breathability
Remember, it doesn’t have to be all or nothing. Even replacing a few synthetic items with natural alternatives can make a difference over time. Research has also shown that products with less than 10% synthetic fibres also make a huge difference!
Nagnata
If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know I love activewear that feels good both on and off the body, and activewear that I can transition into a trendy outfit for everyday.

Why I love it:
Beautiful, elevated designs
Breathable natural fibre blends

Pieces that transition effortlessly from movement to everyday wear
It’s definitely an investment brand, but the quality and longevity make it worthwhile.
Indigo Luna
Indigo Luna has become a favourite for comfortable, feminine pieces designed with both movement and relaxation in mind.

Stone Kin
Stone Kin is one of my favourite brands for effortless, elevated basics.

It’s another fantastic option for those wanting to build a natural fibre wardrobe without spending a fortune.
Progress Over Perfection
One of the biggest misconceptions about sustainable fashion is that you need to throw everything away and start again.
In reality, the most sustainable wardrobe is often the one you already own.
As items naturally wear out, consider replacing them with higher-quality pieces made from natural fibres. Over time, these small decisions can significantly reduce your reliance on synthetic fabrics while creating a wardrobe that feels better to wear and lasts much longer.
The Bottom Line
Choosing natural fibre clothing isn’t about chasing perfection. It’s about becoming more conscious of what we bring into our homes and place against our skin every day.
The brands above are companies I have personally tried, tested, and genuinely enjoy wearing. They create beautiful pieces that prioritise comfort, quality, sustainability, and mindful production.
By supporting brands that value natural materials and thoughtful manufacturing, we’re investing not only in our own wellbeing but also in a healthier future for our planet.
Fashion should feel good—and that starts with what it’s made from.
